Regional investment development based on cooperation of science and industry - the case of Finland.
Janusz Marszalec (PhD) – graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology, MBA (Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota), spent more than 10 years in Finland. Worked for 10 years at VTT - Technical Research Centre of Finland, Electronics Institute. He was also a lecturer at the Oulu University and cooperated with companies from the Oulu Technopolis technological park.
He also dealt with the designs and construction of scientific-industrial consortia, scientific-research works and consulting. He worked on projects for: Nokia, Rautaruukki, Kone, Oras, Auramo, Partek, Fortum, European Space Agency.
He is an author of over 70 scientific publications, several books and four patents (two in Poland, two in Finland). Finished the investment consultant course at the Privatisation Centre in Warsaw, as well as professional services marketing training at HANKEN – Swedish School of Economics and Business Administraton. He took courses on international projects management at VTT - Technical Research Centre of Finland in Helsinki.
He is a consultant for the Minister of Science and Higher Education. He is also an expert at the Adam Smith Centre.
